The 2nd scientific news story
is about an experiment for pilots who need to travel in space
for many months or maybe years.
Beginning in June 2010
6 international volunteers joined in an experiment to live
in a simulation room at the Russian Scientific Institute
which adjusts conditions to be like a spaceship.
They lived in that room for 520 days,
the same amount of time as traveling back and forth to Mars.
